Ben Fletcher has just gotten himself into a heap of trouble. After he’s been caught stealing from a local store, he’s ordered to take a local class to keep out of trouble. The only problem is his choices are limited. Car repair with his father?  No, thank you, he has to do on the weekends anyway, and it’s not on his list of things that are fun to do. Microsoft Office? Who doesn’t already know that? That leaves knitting or pottery. Pottery wouldn’t be so bad, but it’s taught by his crush’s mom and the last thing he needs is stories of how ridiculous his projects are getting back to her. Which leaves knitting. Well, at least it’s taught by his hot English teacher. Or so he thinks. Too bad there was a mistake in the schedule and now he’s stuck. However, much to Ben’s surprise he actually likes knitting and he’s really, really good at it. Maybe even good enough to win a regional juniors competition. Now, his only problem is making sure his new skill stays hidden and that his dad, best friends, and crush never, ever find out.
