Young Adult Activities

Based on the quantity of creative programming ideas on the Young Adult Activities blog, the Hays Public Library looks like the best place to hang out. Written by the staff from the Young Adult Department at the Hays Public Library in Kansas, this is a prime resource for teen librarians. They’ve got pictures of the programs and crafts in progress, sometimes post videos, and aren’t afraid to talk about what went wrong in addition to what worked.

Wrapped Up In Books

Featuring booklists, book reviews, programming ideas, and so much more, Wrapped Up In Books is the brainchild of Molly Wetta, a YA/graphic novel/media collection development librarian at the Lawrence Public Library. Set aside some time for exploring her archives because you’ll be reading for awhile. Plus, her blog title is a reference to a Belle and Sebastian song!
